How to register
Registration goes through an approved language school or test centre, not through the ministry and not through us. You choose where in Denmark you want to sit the test, and you must be registered no later than five weeks before the test day. The fee is DKK 946, payable on registration.
Use the official SIRI test-centre directory (in Danish). Choose a centre marked IP (Indfødsretsprøven), then follow its registration link. Check the address, arrival time and payment confirmation with your chosen centre.
There is no resit for illness. If you cannot attend you lose the fee and register for the next term, six months later. The same applies if you fail: you can try again, but not before the next sitting.
